Delivery Information & Policies
Orders below the required minimum must be picked up by the customer.
A signed rental agreement and reservation retainer are required before your order can be added to our delivery schedule. All reservation retainers are non-refundable.
Delivery windows are scheduled in 3-hour increments and are based on routing, logistics, and event timing.
Rentals will be delivered within 50 feet of the delivery vehicle. Additional labor fees may apply for deliveries requiring extended walking distances or difficult access, including stairs, elevators, gravel, dirt paths, steep hills, or restricted loading areas. Please notify our team in advance if your venue includes any of these conditions.
Delivery and setup areas must be clean, accessible, and ready upon arrival. If rentals are being placed on grass, sprinklers must be turned off and all pet waste removed prior to delivery. For the safety of our team, all pets must be secured during delivery and pickup.
Clients are responsible for protecting rental items from weather, theft, loss, and damage while items are in their possession.
Once rentals have been delivered, refunds, credits, or reductions cannot be issued for unused items or last-minute changes.

Weather Policy
For the safety of our clients and staff, Smalls Event Rentals reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify rentals due to unsafe weather conditions, including hurricanes, tropical storms, severe rain, excessive winds (15 MPH or greater), or other Acts of God.
Weather-related decisions are based on local forecasts, radar conditions, venue conditions, and overall safety considerations.
Whenever possible, we will offer a raincheck valid for up to one year or reschedule the event for the next available date.
Short periods of rain or temporary weather interruptions do not qualify for refunds. Once rentals have been delivered and setup is completed, weather-related refunds or credits cannot be issued.
Setup & Breakdown Services
Rental rates do not include setup or breakdown services. Setup and breakdown fees are determined based on the size of the order, installation requirements, venue access, and labor needed. If you would like setup service included with your order, please contact our office for a custom quote.
Beach Delivery Policy
We proudly offer delivery services to residential addresses, private properties, and approved event venues throughout our service area. At this time, direct delivery or setup on the beach is not available due to vehicle access restrictions, equipment transportation limitations, weather exposure, and safety concerns for both our team and rental equipment.
After-Hours Retrieval Service
Rental orders requiring pickup after 6:00 PM and before 10:00 PM are subject to an additional after-hours retrieval fee. This fee helps cover extended labor, transportation, and scheduling accommodations outside of our standard operating hours.
To help clients avoid additional charges, rentals may often be scheduled for pickup the following day at no extra cost, when venue access and scheduling allow.
Booking Recommendations
We recommend reserving your rentals as early as possible to ensure availability for your event date. While we may accept orders up to one week prior to an event, availability is not guaranteed — especially during peak wedding season, holidays, and high-demand weekends.
For weddings, larger events, and peak-season dates, we strongly recommend booking 2–3 months in advance to secure your preferred inventory and event date. Popular items such as tents, specialty seating, dinnerware, and custom event pieces often book quickly.
